CALLING ALL NORTHWESTERN COACHES FOR THE 2010-2011 SEASON
Have a passion for hockey? Like to teach kids about life through the game of hockey? Like to see kids have fun? If you have a hat trick of "yes" answers and want to coach at any travel level, Mite through Bantams and all *girls teams then please e-mail the following information to hockeynow99@yahoo.com by FRIDAY, MARCH 19th:

2) Indicate which days and times you are available to facilitate tryouts as an "on-ice" coach or as an "evaluator". It is critical that we have strong support during tryouts for all levels so please volunteer for more than the level you intend to coach. The tryout dates are as follows with more specific tryout information available on the NWCYH website.
*Please note that only the Girls Tier II team holds Spring tryouts, but coaching interest for any level of Girls hockey should be conveyed at this time and we would appreciate any support that can be provided as an evaluator for the Spring Tryouts.

I will be contacting selected individuals to assist with tryouts. Please understand that there will be no coaches definitively assigned to any specific team until their child has been placed on a team via the tryout evaluation process. We aim to name head coaches at the same time as we post initial player placements this spring. I will request coaching applications around the June time frame and will review all of them with our NWCYH Board. Assistant coaches will be named in the fall as we finalize all rosters. They will be selected with combined input from our NWCYH Board and the head coaches of the respective teams.
