Sponsorship Program
Northwestern Connecticut Youth Hockey (NWCYH) is pleased to announce exciting new sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming season. NWCYH provides youth hockey and skating opportunities to over 300 children in Northwestern Connecticut. By becoming a NWCYH sponsor, you will reach the families of our members in a way that can benefit both the children and your business. NWCYH is an IRS Section 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Please consult your tax advisor to determine what portion of your contribution, if any, may be deductible for income tax purposes.
Sponsorships run for one year beginning September 15th each year. Details of the sponsorship program are as follows:
PROGRAM SPONSORSHIP – $2,500
- Banner, logo, or company name rotating on the home page and all non-team pages of our official web site, WWW.NORTHWESTERNHOCKEY.COM, with a direct link to your company’s web site. In its 3 years of operation, the Northwestern Hockey web site has had over a quarter-million visitors!
- Logo and company name listed in the Sponsor section of our web site, with a direct link to your company’s web site.
- Each year, NWCYH plays host to highly popular tournaments at Thanksgiving and Christmas. A full-page ad will be made available in our Holiday Tournament booklet that is provided free to all tournament players and spectators. The ad placement will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A plaque will be presented to proudly display your support for youth hockey in our community.
- There will be a maximum three Program Sponsors each year. Our membership will be encouraged to demonstrate support and appreciation by patronizing the services offered by our Program Sponsors.
TEAM SPONSORSHIP -- $400
Each year NWCYH fields over a dozen teams made up of boys and girls ranging in age from 4 through 19. Teams include Learn to Skate, Novice, Mite, Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam, Midget, and Girls U12, U14 and U19. These teams compete throughout the State of Connecticut and many will attend tournaments throughout the New England region.
Team Sponsorship provides the opportunity for your company to get involved in promoting the interests of an individual team and funds will be used to subsidize direct team-related expenses.
- Your company’s name and logo will be prominently displayed on your team’s page on the NWCYH web site, WWW.NORTHWESTERNHOCKEY.COM.
- Logo and company name listed in the Sponsor section of our web site, with a direct link to your company’s web site.
- Each year, NWCYH plays host to highly popular tournaments at Thanksgiving and Christmas. As a Team Sponsor, a quarter-page ad will be made available to you in our Holiday Tournament booklet that is provided free to all tournament players and spectators.
- Team results posted in the local newspapers will be prefaced with your company’s name. For example, the YOUR COMPANY Mites.
PROGRAM SUPPORTER -- $100
The cost of running a youth hockey program is enormous. Ice time is not cheap! If you would like to help defray these costs so that the widest range of children can participate in our quality programs, please consider becoming a Program Supporter.
- Each year, NWCYH plays host to highly popular tournaments at Thanksgiving and Christmas. As a Program Supporter, your family name or company will be listed in our Holiday Tournament booklet that is provided free to all tournament players and spectators.
- Your Family name or logo will be displayed on our “Program Supporter” page on the NWCYH web site, WWW.NORTHWESTERNHOCKEY.COM.
